Whatever else happens this election season I'm going to have a good laugh watching all the leftists who 20 years ago screamed about Cheney/Haliburton running the US now vote for the Presidential candidate he endorsed.
If I had a time machine I could make my 2004-era self's mind explode: "all your leftist friends are going to vote for the same person as Dick Cheney (and the party will advertise that as a good thing), you will vote for someone endorsed by a Kennedy (and his party/family will advertise that as a bad thing), your best friend now thinks he's a woman, you're going to be a Christian because the existence of God will become self-evident, etc..."
And my life (God willing) isn't even half over yet.
