Did they censor it to get a better rating? I don't play FF games, so I have no idea.

No. It came out rated M, can't really go higher without making it the unmarketable AO. F-bombs and scenes of sex or implying sex, the kind of stuff most people say is straight out of Game of Thrones.

I haven't played it yet, but it releases on PC on the 17th (was PS5 exclusive all that time)
