Their annoying and only really needed during winter or doing out doors type stuff. I shouldn’t have to put on pants and a belt and shoes to get in the car go to the store buy something and then go back home. I known it’s not a big deal but I’ve never seen anyone talk about the stuff I specifically dislike here.

You don't need to fuck around with a belt. There's no waistband to restrict your movement or feel uncomfortable if you bend over to work on something for awhile. There's more mobility in the knees than your average pair of pants. You never need to hike your pants up or worry about plumber butt. Overalls solve these problems. I've tried everything from wearing correct size pants to baggier pants a few sizes larger, but none of this is as comfortable or efficient as overalls.
Which is fine but in my mind if pants were my issue, you would be suggesting more pants. I find that kinda funny.
See that's because you're coming from the wrong perspective. You started with the negative of pants and just saw pants that went higher. Instead start with the positive of a loose shirt and see it as a shirt that goes lower.
I'll consider this approach but bear in mind you put them on like pants and not over your head like a shirt
