This is why we need real zero based budgeting at the federal level. Make these happy idiots justify every penny every year.
Supposedly Carter tried to implement it back in the 70's but the deep state just gave him the finger and laughed.
What we need are lower taxes. Cut taxes by 75% of what they are now and then all of a sudden they can't afford this sort of shit.
We'd need to abolish the Federal Reserve first. Whatever they can't squeeze out of the taxpayers they just print and spend.
It's the other way around. The government takes massive loans from the Federal Reserve and our tax dollars are used to make the minimum monthly payment (most of which is on the interest).

Abolish the federal government, and reinstate the Articles of Confederation.
