A white pill moment in these months of constant black pilling, I am extremely glad I was wrong about normies liking Fallout and other shit. Have you noticed? All the woke DEI crap is turning them off IPs entirely as well that were originally the hobby of nerds only which is how it should be rather than these cringe posers who are going around posting memes for about five seconds before they go onto the next astroturfed trend. The IPS that have been infested with DEI checklists are not getting the new audiences that they were hoping for because normies have such a low attention span so they won't be a profitable replacement to the dedicated fans all the woke companies despise.
Now the caveat to this will be Halloween, we'll see whether or not the bastards are trying to cosplay as vault dwellers or anything like that. Which will happen a bit anyway because it's Fallout but I'm not seeing an endless tidal wave of current thing Fallout posting that was all over the place before.
I think it's because normies have that much brain rot from constantly chasing current thing trends that by the time 1 - 2 months have gone by because the Fallout Amazon show wasn't that long ago they've forgotten everything and have chosen to latch onto the next current thing. This is kind of working out in our favour because looking at their psychology you realise even when it comes to something they're 'outraged' about they'll have forgotten it all within a month because normies are absolute retards.
TLDR: Normies are terrible long term consumers for media and games companies because they just follow trends, they tried to replace us and it failed, expect layoffs
People cosplaying in Fallout stuff might not indicate popularity as let's be honest, the vault suit is REALLY easy to make.
...and REALLY easy to turn slutty...
But for other stuff it just doesn't stick in the mind as well because they use the franchises as a skinsuit to tell the same tired old stories. So for normies it's like:
"Oh look this is a unique setting. Bored now watch something else"
There's nothing underneath the asthetic to make it standout, I bet if it was the writers of Fallout New Vegas, they'd have probably done the series like the Anime Handyman Saitou in Another World so you could follow different people on different quests as other than the Ghoul and little brother, everyone else was REALLY dull.
