Israel was founded with the hopes of the Zionists creating a Racial Socialist state. This failed because they had to actually work with the jewish Orthodox factions to actually make something tangible, rather than just being terrorists.

Because of this, it morphed into a kind of religious state, that the Israeli right has been trying to make more theocratic, and the Israeli Left has tried to make more Socialist & Irreligious. To be honest, if the Arabs weren't constantly trying to destroy it, Israel might actually break up since the two sides are fundamentally irreconcilable.

As we've seen with Scotland, Ireland, and France; the Israeli Left have effectively abandoned the Racialist aspect of Zionism in all but named.
