Going full North Korea as I think even China has a few workarounds.
The only reason I doubt the UK would follow through is like the EU they are dependant on US protection. Pissing off a multi billionaire with large stakes in the space industry who seems to have ties with the next president seems like too dumb a move, hell the EU backtracked already on that so let's see if they want to burn a bridge that dooms their establishment.
Oh and I actually doubt it'll stop Brazilians as they have a culture of stealing shit from the government constantly like tapping into power lines, it'll just make the black market even stronger hell you might have some going Dark Web on us.
One of the things I warned would happen in the long run would be countries implementing national Intranets that were walled gardened from the Internet. Like North Korea's Kwangmyong but not as strict (citizens can still contact other people worldwide but under heavy surveillance whereas North Korea forbids all communication with the outside world).
Brazil seems to be heading down that road with the UK following closely behind and the EU in tow. "For your safety".
If your government can't handle free speech, then it's not a legitimate government of the people. It's nothing but an occupying force using violence to keep people in line rather than rational thought and compromise.

Kind of serves them right for frolicking around in Apple's walled garden.
With android you can extend your middle finger in the direction of the corrupt "judge" and side load a VPN app.
If we could get every faggot leftie government off the free internet it'd be a giant win.
