Report: Re-Logic's 'Terraria' Removed Gender Selection 13 Years After Release In Most Recent Patch
A new report claims that Terraria publisher and developer Re-Logic removed gender selection from the game 13 years after the game was released. The game was released to Steam in 2011.
Heh, can't find in their logs about this change and it still there although the layout has changed I think.
This is how it looks now, so not at all the same as the report.
yep. cross verified. can still make female characters in the version I just yanked off steam.
The article seems to be about a upcoming patch, but it does not seem to be open so can't verify it.
Correct. 1.4.5 isn't out yet.

I added a post showing the connections.
Still, There is only so far to my knowledge this article which reference a small anti-woke steam curator which only post a image of the supposed changes, and this being a patch that has no release date and having been in development for a long time and with no other indication that the company has gone woke to my knowledge, it could just be outrage propaganda, Do you have any other source?
Edit, my bad missed the new comment
