Since there's so much depressing stuff going on right now I thought it might be fun for everyone to sperg about audio for awhile. I'm very much in the market for upgrading my audio at some point, I don't know if it would be worth doing a speaker setup of some kind.
You might find this funny but I'm having to remember that yes I am living on my own now and I can do stupid shit like this. My only issue of course is that I often tend to game and relax at night, so it would probably pay off more to get some kind of really good quality wireless headphones.
I have a decent pair now, but they're cheapos and they often break because they're made from the crappiest plastic ever. At some point I want to get myself something nice and long lasting to have that premium sound experience. I wouldn't mind doing some gaming and such or testing my own audio on a speaker system too.
I'm veering towards maybe Logitech and Sennheiser brands generally.
Coming in seriously late with this, but I wholeheartedly endorse a nice set of Sony MDR7506 headphones. Comfortable even for my oversized cranium, large ear-pieces, and it'll handle a decade of daily abuse, easily.
It's also what a number of professionals use in radio work and the like. Take that for what you will.
They're just, ah, not wireless. But I've never been a fan of wireless anyways.
lol thanks for the extra suggestion, it's interesting how going with the fairly mainstream brands is a safe bet and making good use of wired extenders will allow for more room freedom.
