Normal Christians believe that Revelations is just a thing that will happen someday. Maybe not for centuries.
Evangelicals/Dispensationalists literally are trying to force the prophecy. Their entire existence is devoted to hoping that they can intentionally trigger the prophecy specifically so Jesus will come back and kill everybody so they can get Raptured. They're unhappy with the idea that it might not happen while they're alive to witness it. So they intervene and try to intentionally prop up their prophecy just to trigger the end of the world, because they think when Jesus comes back he's going to 'save' all the jews.
