It's a shame, too; his story could be inspiring, if he wasn't such a retard.
If you click on his profile (I'm not signed in, so I think it's sorting by most popular), his top tweet is about being a recovered drug addict and ex-homeless person, who died six times.
Then his next most popular tweet is that the driving force behind homelessness is poverty, not drugs.
Then his fourth or fifth tweet is about him meeting a woman and falling in love...then going back to being a homeless drug addict before she happened to see him and save him years later.
Again, everyone has their struggles, I'm not going to hate too much, but damn. He just kept failing time and again.
I'm genuinely glad it seems to have worked out - I don't wish ill on anyone, generally - but it's a shame he's a total retard.
It's so weird. He's in one of the best positions to know, and still insists on trotting out retard talking points.
Like...I doubt it was beer that killed him six times. I get a normie going 'hehe, alcohol is totally a drug too, and that includes one of the lightest forms of alcohol around' but a hardcore, six-times resuscitated homeless drug addict should know better.
And to complain about people who 'complain about using drugs' when drugs fucking killed you six times...again, it's just staggering levels of retardation.
And that's not even getting into the 'poverty' excuse, when he started using drugs when he was twelve! Of course poverty could have an impact but, yeah, not like his twelve year old self got fired from his office job and just couldn't make ends meet or something. I can't pretend to know what his childhood was like, but someone - likely multiple someones - fucked up bad. It wasn't poverty, it was a bunch of stuff.
Again, it's a shame. This guy did overcome some stuff, and his story could be inspiring. But, damn, is he a retard.
Also, in his own words, here is his path:
At 12 I started using drugs.
At 14 I was incarcerated and made a ward of the court.
At 16 I joined a gang & bounced through foster care.
By 18, I was already fully immersed in crime, drugs & prison.
By 23, I was fully addicted & homeless & facing multiple near fatal medical issues for years.
At 42 I died 6 times.
At 43 I got sober.
At 44 I became a father.
At 45 I got my first legitimate job in years.
At 49 I did my 1st TEDx Talk.
At 50 I became an International Public Speaker.
Nobody thought I'd live past 30 & here I am. It's never too late to start over!
Jeez, what a shitbag.
