I watched Styx pretty regularly for years and I used to feel the same way about him. But the issue isn't that he's wrong sometimes: he's literally wrong almost all the time. And much more importantly, he refuses to acknowledge it.
For months people who actually understand polling were telling him in his chat to be careful about predicting a red wave in 22, but he kept saying it and when it didn't happen, he actually said, "most of my predictions were pretty accurate," which was flat out not true. For months he had people superchatting him and commenting on his videos telling him that the Dems were going to drop Biden and for months he kept saying they wouldn't do it. And then it happened and he hasn't even once acknowledged that he was wrong.
Those are just two examples: there are plenty more. Tarl's manner helps him come across as reasonable and rational, and that lends weight to much of what he says because he's not hyperbolic or over-the-top, but eventually you'll realize that he's still full of shit. Especially when he claims on livestreams that positive energy he projects into the world is the force that protected Trump from a bullet.
He is smart enough to use words like "likely" "unlikely", he never claimed to be a prophet knowing the truth/future. And still far better than most other political content creators I have seen. And at least some what trustworthy compared to the legacy media. Then you have guys like Steve Turley which are pretty heavy grifters and will promise you anything and even use clickbait healines all the time, way worse.

So in other words, it brought him great profits. I wonder what the motivation could be...
