Or do you see it as an overt cash grab

stop giving money to people who hate you. jesus fucking christ.
leftists aren't self-hating, they cannibalize OTHERS, not themselves. self-hating whites are the faggots who pay Disney to shit on them
there's a post up right now about people going to see that faggoty deadpool movie. Wow congrats "it wasn't woke" you still paid Disney, you still willingly gave money to people who hate you and blame you for everything. absolute fucking cuckold retards
This is such a brilliant observation. Even if this movie is James Bond slapping a bitch levels of based without nary a woke moment, if it makes even a modest profit at the box office, there’ll be fifteen more obnoxious sequels where they crank the globohomo up to 11. At the end of the day, they still hate us and care more about their “message” than our entertainment.
Just let it all fuckin die already.
That's the plan, it's a two-tier approach to subverting the Overton Window. Sadly way too many people fall for it.
For instance, Rings of Power is terrible but people love Fallout. The ideas and hate-messaging they hold for viewers with the Rings of Power is identical to that of Fallout, it's just that while Rings of Power was a touch too woke, Fallout was only barely woke enough to stifle pushback.
The Acolyte was Disney going mask-off, and while people can recoil all day long about how terrible is, a bunch of people will throw money at them with Deadpool & Wolverine, including "le based" anti-SJW/anti-woke channels who make all their grift on "hating" Disney.
This is the Left's long game, and they are playing it superbly. The amount of normies I see in normie spaces decrying an ultra-woke property while supporting a mildly woke property is beyond common.
For instance, the same people who ragged on Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League were some of the same people who also enjoyed Hogwarts Legacy, so they're still supporting the same messaging from the same company. One product simply presented itself in a slightly higher quality than the other.
