I just got back from my 16 day ban. I missed the ban thread and wanted to paste my comment to see if anyone cared to respond. Dom has a hard on for me and a few other users because we keep busting his balls for censorship and we like railing against jewish supremacists.
But to my point: Dom isn't that bad. Hes not insane (probably) nor a jidf (probably). And he's actually gone enough so we actually get some free speech discussion. I imagine it's because he has a life and is not a tranny online only redditor.
But his issue is that he's trying to curate this board into his own idea of what we should be instead of what the userbase actually is. We are a bunch of gamers, christians, right wingers, autists and historians, and we all argue about these things, which includes a lot of hot button politics. But thats this community, not some reddit tier safe space. The whole internet is becoming a safe space, we dont need another. I myself migrated here from conpro and kia2 on reddit after the banning of t_d and its way better here having real discussions.
He is trying to direct this community towards what he thinks we should be. The community is the community. A mod coming along and telling us we need to be something else is not his place. He needs to keep illegal shit off the board and beyond that stfu about the direction it is going.
My issue is this: kia2 is a hotbed of based discussion and if he keeps stomping the community's free speech people will just abandon this place completely and he can hang out with Imp1, gizortnik, and himself. I dont want to see that happen to this place.
My advice to Dom: clean up pedo shit/illegal shit/porn spam and leave the discussion to the users. You are a moderator, not a King. We are a text board community, not your acolytes.

Problem is, some users here haven't noticed how much the average discussion has moved around or shifted. It's happened as more users flock here with different perceptions of what they're told this place is about, or from the current threads they see. Four years ago this place was more mellow and open, but still a bit on edge as we were in the midst of the COVID plandemic, so most discussion was directed towards that while still maintaining the Gamergate focus. It's really only in the past two years users are grabbing at each others throats on hot button topics since the whole issue of COVID went away and the DEI stuff has been become the norm across the global economy.
It is kind of fascinating how a year ago most were telling an an anti-theist sperg to fuck off when vocally complaining about ducarte's daily Bible-humping quote thread, that this forum can be whatever people want to talk about within the realm of reason, but then more recent months people have been in lockstep about what discussions are acceptable and what isn't. DoM being an inconsistent mod who overreacts when he returns every other day doesn't help.
I'd still say that DoM has been on edge since the Oct 7th shit with Israel. We had people here discussing topics of jews and the elites and whatnot, he would whack people with the utterly stupid R16 rule when it got too out of hand, but it did sort of explode after that where some users thought they needed to go on a crusade. Sure, that's fine if one's modus operandi is to make (((notice))) posts, but it gives a false impression of what's usually discussed here and has made DoM believe that this place is being brigaded by whomever, Conpro, neo-Nazi ghosts, etc. The constant meta-posting about the issues with him is getting tiring as well. People most likely are just going to leave, just as those who didn't agree with the new .win rules at the beginning of the migration left.
I mean once you connect the Jewish dots they are kinda involved in everything we discuss.
It's just a fact.
