In fairness, considering that this administration is almost entirely just Deep State run, and the elected officials have no major influence, this is a consequence.
Don't forget that Fauci didn't lose his job from the lockdowns, Miley didn't lose his job from the Afghan withdraw, no one in EUROCOM or SOCOM has been held liable for the failures in Ukraine, neither Mayorkas nor Harris faced consequences from the Border crisis, etc, etc.
Contrast this with Obama. He threw people under the bus all the time, whether they did anything or not. He did that so he could say, "I learned of it at the same time you all did" despite being actively involved. Politicians always throw bureaucrats under the bus. It's to be expected so they can claim that sweet, sweet, "scandal free" administration, and claim that they were a decent chap who never did anything wrong.
With Biden, they fail, and nothing happens. Dead silence. Everybody just goes on like nothing happened. They literally have the greatest single failure of their department's history; then they just go "well shit", and hope it blows over by next year.
This might be the first time anyone in the Biden regime has been held accountable for anything.
That sounds like a cope. Consequences mean real suffering. Prison or capital punishment. Not being told to move your stuff out of one cushy top floor office and into a different cushy top floor office a month later, still with a 7-8 figure paycheck, a house just outside DC, another in the Hamptons, another in Florida, being invited to the same parties, getting the same insider stock tips, being invited on all the talk shows to be an "expert" pundit. This is less being thrown under the bus and more being thrown from inside one limousine into another limousine, both going to the same party, just with slightly different paint jobs.
You're setting the bar too high for consequences for the deep state, in which the entire purpose of the deep state is to prevent consequences.
If you're hoping for the grand victories that should happen in a proper government, you're not focusing on the victories that we need to have in front of us, and you end up doom-pilling because you're not getting what you wanted.
Strong disagree. In fact, the entire right needs a whole lot less hope. I think the right has gotten drunk off of good feelings and optimism, and it's made the right impotent and unwilling to upset the apple cart. I think the right needs to be smacked in the face with doomerism to shock people into realizing how bad things really are and that some seriously drastic and outrageous action is going to need to be taken in the real world, not on the internet, in order to save the country. Anything that inoculates them against that realization, and lets them put the comfort blanket back on and pretend that things are going to be okay while they sit on the Internet posting memes is counterproductive and needs to be stopped.
The entire right needs to be violently grabbed by the shoulders and shaken hard while "wake the fuck and get off the internet, communists are literally about to murder you, do something about it right now" is screamed in their faces.
Frankly, the Left have been a lot more murder-y before than they are now. You're dealing with Fabian Socialists not Bolsheviks. They use different strategies.
Doomerism is one of the stupidest things you could advocate for because you don't understand the mentality of the political right. They would back down in the face of agitation and confrontation, not stand up. 'Conservative' mentalities hunker down aggressively when hit with too much stress. This is also why accelerationism also doesn't work.
If you aggress on the conservatives with Doomerism, you're more likely to get what we were about to see in the UK before Nigel ran: the political right completely abandoning the political process and ceding all ground to the political left. You will get the 100% opposite outcome you are looking for.
Conservative mentality people respond to inspiration not outrage or disgust.
