Recently on Reddit I saw Lara Logan's 60 minutes interview making the rounds. Lara Logan was a journalist covering the Egyptian Arab Spring. During the event she was sexually assaulted by the crowd. They stripped her clothes off and grabbed, pinched, and inserted their fingers.
I dunno why this was a thing being pointed out on Reddit how many years later. But what was sickening was the amount of people complaining that she apparently became more conservative following the event, and people were negating her victimhood due to her current political view.
Point being, that these people don't care about women or victims, it's just like everything else an empty virture signal.
