C is basically the "Bermuda Triangle effect". The Bermuda Triangle is an utterly massive patch of ocean that is a major route for air and sea traffic. If you basically draw an equivalent size triangle anywhere on the oceans with equal traffic, there's essentially just as many disappearances and wrecks. There's nothing special at all about the Bermuda Triangle.
