I only know about a few specific battles in these rebellions, but looking it up now, I can't find any sources that suggest the jews went on an ethnic cleansing against non-jews.

It wouldn't surprise me given the time period, and the level of violence of the zealots, nor the standard already set by the Romans, but I don't see where he's getting that claim from.
