Between the failed Trump Assassination and Biden dropping out, Trump's victory seems all but assured.
It is only July.
There's plenty of time for a new candidate to be pushed forward and blitzed in the media. whatever the new candidate is, they're likely to be the most safe and """"presidential"""" option. they're likely going to be young and be soft on climate change policies and DEI. the point will be to create a candidate that could believably be elected, and therefore bring the needle within the margin of fraud.
Make no mistake, whoever they push will continue the policies of the current administration. the only saving grace is that the candidate will be a first-term candidate, and so we'll have to keep up moderate appearances.
the absolute minimum you must do is vote. they will cheat, they will steal, but having a low voter turnout makes the steel all the more believable. The numbers must remain outside the margin of fraud in order to have a chance of a peaceful resolution to this political bullshit.
voting is free and far from the only thing you can do to bring about political change. If you don't vote, then you are just a lazy faggot and your opinions are worthless.
it's going to be kamala.
in 13 states, including 3 swing states, they cannot pick anyone other than her because state laws already closed filing for new candidates. the democratic party had edged out everyone else, refused to even have a debate. at least in those states, they can't pick anyone who hasn't already filed, which is just kamala and a bunch of total nobodies. now the party choosing anyone else other than kamala would leave biden on the ballot in those states, and the new candidate would only get write-in votes. in other words, the probability that another candidate can win is virtually zero, just by sheer procedure. that's before we get into actual debates and rallies. it also makes election fraud virtually impossible, because no one is going to believe a newcomer got millions of write-in ballots. they'd investigate the handwriting and it'd be blatantly fake.
also, newsom and the rest of the snakes who actually have a political career don't want to go up against trump. and they certainly don't want to burn their presidential shot on this shit-show election where they're fighting with a huge handicap.
BS. No one has been officially nominated. They could nominate Peter Pan if they wanted to.
no. there are tons of variations state by state in how it works.
in the 13 relevant states, they needed to get the filing in already. they'd be stuck selecting from biden, harris, and all those no-name people who sign up and don't even get 1%. that's different from the deadline to finalize selection, which for many states isn't until aug, sept, or even oct. in those 13 states, only the people who already filed are eligible. that's why i'm saying you're mixing up deadlines.
in contrast, look at indiana, where the deadline to finalize is a little later, but even if they couldn't get him off the ballot, the party can designate all of his votes to go to the new candidate.
this is also why the GOP has been talking about lawsuits like crazy to stop dems... because a lot of suggested solutions violate state law.
I think it's a money thing, you can't take the money donated to the Biden-Harris campaign and suddenly give it to like Newsom or someone like that.
Correct, the money can only be transferred to a SuperPAC which is less efficient because - I've heard - they don't get discounts and they can't co-ordinate.
But this guy believed that they can't pick anyone else due to filing dates. That is complete nonsense.
