Not dooming, just realism. I'm glad it's at +32 and not -32. We don't need complacency and delusions that everyone's gonna back Trump due to his heroics during the assassination.
Trump is winning as it is. Replacing a blithering, senile idiot with a functional adult, even as clownish as Kamala, is probably bad.
Curse his campaign team for agreeing to a debate before Joe was formally nominated.
What could they cook to make kamala look good? Women card is off since that's a given.
Meanwhile she can't even string a sentence.
The media can make people believe that black is white and white is black. We're in an echo-chamber where people are skeptical. Just show people where she is well-spoken, and there's that too.
Not saying it will happen. But it's easier with her than with Biden.
leftist and voteblue are a write off. Moderates and independents will be hard since a martyr is easier to vote for that the former corrupt DA. I beckon gavin would have been much dangerous since he appears much more intelligent than kamala.
So which of these conditions will prevail?
"The media" can't make anyone believe anything anymore. And the "echo chambers" filled with the "skeptical" for sure are not persuaded by anything, Besides, pretty much everyone who will vote already has their minds made up to vote Trump or whoever ends up fronting the collapsing DP.
Even a lot of people who vote Trump are persuaded by the media into anti-Trump narratives.
Now, the man has flaws (plenty of them), but the stuff they criticize him for is so stupid.
She is definitely more conventionally electable than Biden. She's way younger, a woman, "black," and her cognitive impairments are easier to explain away. She also doesn't sniff kids or have a lot of public family baggage or a history of influence-peddling. Her chances at winning the Presidency are much better than Biden's.
she's also known for being a former da that kept people in jail longer than they need to be. Oh and she's the border czar, and the border problem is now her problem too.
