Any takers on the assassination attempt being part of the plan? Even if Trump survived, they had this in mind?

As much as the attempt rallied Trump's base, it seems to have rallied the Dems too after Joe was floundering about. The Dems are probably banking on their last resort of "Vote Blue No Matter Who" combined with election fortification.

Yeah. I’m curious if Biden would have dropped out in the universe where Trump died or there wasn’t even an attempt.
