For me, I kept an open mind until I saw the layout of the area and realized they left that roof unguarded. It isn't 2 miles away. It's 150 fucking yards with a clear line of sight to Trump.

If you pulled a random person off the street and gave them command of the security setup, they'd know to guard that roof. It's too incompetent to be explained by incompetence.
