The speech for stepping down has already been written, and Biden will make the announcement this weekend.
Kamala Harris will NOT be endorsed by Joe Biden
Biden Staff Sources claim they do not want a "Kamala Coronation"
The DNC will be openly accepting new candidates, and the pledged delegates to Biden will be released
Kamala is ALREADY seeking running mates
Kamala's staff believe they will be able to keep the money donated to the Biden-Harris campaign

I don't think Kamala can actually keep that money. They are probably wrong about that.

I believe that according to campaign financing laws, at least some of that money, based on how it was raised, can only be spent if Kamala's name remains on the ticket. Whoever does end up being nominated may have to keep her as VP.

Then again, I think the Dems are prepared to break the law, not just their own procedures, to keep that money.
