I think it was Edward Snowden??? or someone similar that said they've seen what happens. They just bring a unit of some kind in, plug it in and have full access. Maybe the local PD can't get in, but the feds can.
I don't think the DEI incompetence and deep state hit are mutually exclusive. JFK was a hit, and there wasn't incompetent secret service at the time. The SS just being useless is icing on the cake.
