I seriously doubt it.
if the deep State tried to assassinate trump, they wouldn't do it on live TV in front of a bunch of supporters. And they most especially wouldn't hire some amateur Columbine wannabe to pull the trigger.
An assassination of Trump would be in the form of a sudden heart attack from poison food or a pin prick from a handshake. it offers complete deniability.
Unless they wanted to send a message by blowing him up on 4k video. Prigozhin didn't have a quiet natural death.
The downside of using an experienced guy is that he'd have to essentially agree to a kamikaze mission, as we saw, plus his identity and history would be blasted over the country. Would look a little weird if he was a Marine sniper who did some contracting for the Agency no?
I'm halfway with you though, I could easily see incompetence instead of malice. We need a lot more answers.
