If they'd actually managed to kill him, it would have been almost as disastrous for them as missing...possibly worse in the long run. Although it's hard to say for sure because, as I've been saying for years, it's impossible to tell what exactly would actually get people going, and it's often the little stuff. Some relatively tiny event is just as likely to spark a big event as shooting the president, often.
But, yeah, taking literal shots at Trump won't solve the left's current problems. I'm just extremely grateful they missed. Lot's of people have been praising God, and for good reason. This was a miracle, whether someone takes that to mean from God, or the more mundane and colloquial sense. The man got shot in the ear, after turning his head right then. You really can't get much closer.
Should ask Ron Paul about people who might want to help, he's had plenty of support in the military due to being a non-interventionist in the past.
It's probably too much to hope for, but I would love if trumped forged a stronger relationship with Ron and Rand Paul, Thomas Massie, and the like. Even Tulsi. I know people have mixed feelings on her, for good reason, but she's still pretty good - for a politician - on foreign policy. Trump teaming up with those guys would be one of the better things that could happen to the country.
I've been on a Whatifalthist binge as of late(Interesting stuff, fyi), and in one of his more recent videos, he commented that the Tech Elite has no understanding of the fact that the masses are roughly a week away from lynching them all.
I think there's very much a case of 'victory disease' among certain elements on the left - that they've been allowed to do so much without any 'real' pushback, it means they can continue to get away with thier activities forever.
And then they act confused and shriek and caterwaul when thier actions finally have consequences.
And yeah. I'm not one for believing in the divine, but... If that son of a bitch had actually succeeded, we'd be waking up to alot of nasty stuff this morning.
I think there's so much corruption, graft and looting, that its become intensely ubiquitous. Imagine you're a manager at a Best Buy or an Amazon warehouse and you let a few employees take what they want. In a week 99% would be openly looting.
There's no real loyalty, just rat's instinct to loot while the looting is good. They are going to keep out any threat that they see will upend that gravy train. Not that Trump drained the swamp the first time, but he says the secrets out loud. Also the media scrutinizes everything when he's in. Making it more difficult to do 'bidness'. They blanched when Trump revealed we were invading Syria to take their oil. Couping Venezuela to get that oil. You're supposed to say saving democracy and humanitarian missions.
So they gotta keep him out so the looting can continue unabated.
Trump upends some of the gamier schemes. Like the TPP, Paris garbage, green lies. That's where a lot of lucrative contracts get handed out for no results/no show jobs. They need that money to keep flowing so the little rats don't start squealing en masse on the big rats.

At the risk of fed posting...
