I think some leftists are misguided and can be reasoned with. But it's a very, very small minority.
I honestly think a majority of leftists who have TDS will never, ever work with any of us on the right, or even the center. They're a lost cause, there's no reason to extend an olive branch for them.

You use Stalin as an example but his rule didn't last. No dictator lasts that long when they do the things Stalin did that would violate our Constitution. Trump has plenty of powers he can harness IMMEDIATELY into office once he takes over. He has a SCOTUS that he left behind as his first-term legacy that is friendly to him (though boo on them for not investigating the stolen election), and the SCOTUS actually cleared the way for Trump to kick the deep state in the balls.
SCOTUS has overturned several key rulings that only help the right wing's causes. Roe v Wade is dead, good riddance. They undid Trump's stupid bump stock ban (I bet he's kicking himself for that one). They repealed the Chevron Deference, etc.
The main thing is we need to bring in a Congress and Senate that is loyal to Trump - we've had a few swamp monsters replaced the past few years during Trump's absence, but it's obviously not enough. We have to keep a majority in the Senate as well.
The executive branch is already in the bag, so it's just a matter of getting the House and Senate seats needed to push our mandates to stop this bleeding.
Stalin ruled for 25 years until his death without any opposition. He killed and enslaved so many people he moved the USSR from a backwards agrarian peasant economy to an industrial superpower. The Bolsheviks might have been our enemies but they understood how power worked.

Instead of taking the bull by the horns and getting his followers to eradicate his enemies he spent 4 years tweeting and crying instead of doing what Stalin would and having his enemies shot even when they stole the election blatantly in-front of everyone.
