I just don't get how 50%-some-odd people on this Earth [EDIT: Just in Western countries, I know.] can look at an elderly 100-year-old asian great grandmother in traditional yukata walking her great grandchild around town singing "My Neighbor Totoro" tunes, and look at a fit 18-year-old black man in prison tattoos and knife-ripped jeans walking a protitute around town singing "Fuck the police and fuck my bitch", and say "these two people are identical in terms of all risk assessments, criminality potential, dangers, habits, and preferences".
