The Steam port is also quite passable. When I played it some years ago I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary changed. For those of us who have grievances against the 360 version (whoever decided to make text that small should be shot).
Also the double book+mini chainsaw makes any escort simple by sheer virtue of being able to just kill everything in your path without worry about durability. During aforementioned replay I managed a near perfect 50 survivor run just winging it with those.
Good thinking. For those that just don't want the physical copy, the Steam version should be good. At least until they take it down. So maybe get that one while you can.
Considering its 10$ full price, you can probably find it for sub 5$ with looking. So I'd say everyone who ever cares to play it should just do so.
Capcom doesn't have a track record of taking down the originals when the remasters happen, at least that I know, but it'll certainly see a price bump or some other fuckery if it stays later.
