It genuinely looks worse than it is.

It was a fucking retardedly nonchalant approach to shooting someone who had been actively harassing and threating the neighborhood, and threatened to kill this home owner, and was armed.

The shooting was ugly, but was 100% lawful and moral. It's just tactically stupid, and a bit insane looking without context.
