The problem is that you're relying on a media pushback within a corrupted western media structure. It's like looking for clean water in a marshland.
The sheer amount of nepotism has torn down ANY kind of meritocracy that THIS will be the best you get. Meanwhile in the East, there is a heavily meritocratic industry where customers are less worries about quality and more worried about the personal health of authors and animators. Japan also has the legacy of Abe so a lot of them still promote traditional family values as he wanted the Japanese to fuck and make families more while China will HEAVILY censor anything that disrupts that kind of messaging too.
we still have ourselves and our own will to power. yeah, the grand masses won't be producing anything useful, but that just means we personally have to pick up the slack. i think it's very dreary how so many of us in our spheres prefer wallowing in misery at franchises being ruined to actually learning how to create them. you don't need blackrock money to do so.
ComicsGate is the only scene on our side of the culture war that's produced anything. Not that its output has been stellar, but it's at least not total garbage.

I didn't say it was a lost cause just to be aware of the framework you're working in.
It'd be better to publish media online independently and having episodes on YouTube or X than any mainstream outlet.
You also need to be careful as some media companies still have enough money to just buy out the competition.
