Ah, I get what you're saying. Gotta respect the hustle, actually. I'd like to say I'm pretty perceptive, but I don't think I'd noticed that particular linguistic trick. But, now that you mention it, it makes sense.

They insert that extra little layer, to make it seem like Elon (or whoever) is some "colonist." Doesn't matter if his people grew up in Africa for generations, they add that extra little modifier on to delegitimize everything. Actually pretty clever.

Nevermind that the Dutch settled some of Africa before the fucking Africans did...
