For all I know, she could have been quoting a rap song or something. I don't think she meant to attack a whole race of people.

Then again, I don't believe you using one word should define your entire life, but modern Internet culture doesn't seem to feel that way...

Which is just mimicking what passes for pop culture these days. Which also happen to make it the most plausibly deniable way to bait outrage.
