No, you just don’t notice it in other games because you’re a furry and like furry games.
Modern games suck for the most part. Game studios are full of people who fail to realize what made games (such as Suikoden, on which Eiyuden Chronicle is based) great at best, and who have utter contempt for them at worst.
The hobby won’t heal until that changes.
He's not wrong that there's a certain psychic stench that comes along with anything furry (which has been distinct from anthromorphic animals for many years) in games.
Those who are prone to furry-ism either have a proper, deep sense of shame over it, in which case they hide their power level, or else they're more flamboyant than the head batontwirler at a gay pride parade.
Those who hide their power level, who conceal their "psychic stench" as you put it, aren't going out and making symbols of furry-dom in mass media. They get artists through college by buying ill-advised furry art, and that's usually about it. It's the ones who DO broadcast themselves, that also make the major marketing content. Of course, that overt crowd is ALSO the type of crowd to get obsessed with pronouns, DEI, BRIDGE, sexual open promiscuity, etc etc. Which as we know, ruin games (and most other things, too).
A "furry game", or one made by a pro-furry advocate, would have all the pitfalls of the left, PLUS the additional subculture issues unique to that subculture.
