I never claimed that Linux's failure was the basic concept of file directories, but if you want an example of how the difference might trip up a normie I'd point to some of the unintuitively named top level directory names in Linux, but more likely they'd trip over any distribution that didn't include the easily accessible equivalent of Microsoft's My Documents folder and its attendant music, picture and video folders. God help them if they need to figure out how to access some newly installed program and don't see a folder called Program Files.
