Yeah, as has been pointed out, Nixon did a lot wrong as President. He was also very popular, and was ousted by the deep state/intelligence agencies/what have you. All those things are true at the same time.
For all Nixon's faults, I'd still rather have an actual representational system than a pretend one (there's nothing more dangerous than a "democracy" in name only, because it keeps the people complacent), and he obviously shouldn't have been ousted. It was yet another American coup, and no one talks about it.
