Both right and left have been trained to believe that the dirt is magic, that people are interchangeable cogs. In reality, every multicultural experiment has resulted in a low trust society because groups of people are so very different, and every low trust society must either resort to authoritarianism or descend into violent tribalism. The type of nation that America used to be is only fit for a very specific type of people, and that nation is long gone.
