One thing the normies mainly aren't taking into account overall on exactly why streaming is so much more popular now is you really don't need to spend all that much to have even a decent home theatre setup anymore. I haven't been to a movie theatre for decades, why would you bother? You can sit in the comfort of your own home watching 1080p or higher these days depending on how much money you spend and you've got fancy as fuck projectors now for that cinema feel.
I'm sure everyone's seen it, they even sell proper movie popcorn carts if you want to do the larp in your own home without having to deal with all the cringe nosense of strangers chattering away in the background while you're trying to watch the damn movie which is a major pet hate of mine and why I stopped. You also don't get ripped off on food for a home theatre setup.
Despite more movies in the marketplace, we’re still feeling the aftermath of the strikes. How is that? Many aren’t in the habit of moviegoing yet, and while content is king
Lol there it is, there's the deflection I was waiting for, no no, it can't be that movie theatres just fucking suck now and are becoming increasingly irrelevant, it must be the strikes! I'm surprised they didn't invoke covid.
. For all the hell we gave Disney/Lucasfilm’s Solo: A Star Wars Story back in pre-Covid 2018 with a $103M 4-day debut, jeez, that looks insanely rich by comparison.
Ah yes the NPC did the maths with it's NPC brain and realised it couldn't defend Hollywood through that avenue.

This. I've done about the same thing, even picked up an HF8 haptic feedback device for the chair, which works great when watching blockbuster action films on the big screen. No sense travelling to the theatre when you can get the full movie-going experience sat at home.
