Like not just " i have misguided opinions" or "im stretching the truth" kind of lies, but the straight up lie where they KNOW they are lying and where they tell you "the square you are seeing is a triangle" kind of lie. I've seen some times over the years before where they lie so blatantly like this but this Yasuke discourse takes the cake with how much they are lying right now.

Perfect summary ( Yes summary ) of the leftist mindset, I bet you have had to live with these retards to have such detailed knowledge. It's usually the people who have had to live with leftists in particular that truly understand how they think. People are more than capable of being psychopathic liars if they truly believe it what they're spewing which is why I make the point that no this isn't malicious in the traditional sense.
You often see it with leftists who finally break free of the cultist mindset and they end up doing confessionals of "I really did believe this about this person even though it wasn't true". In MRA circles there was a quite famous example of this with Cassie Jaye who made the red pill movie which pretty much ended her career in most left wing 'polite' circles. She herself talked about how she went in with a specific adversarial mindset and really believed that the MRAs were these evil misogynists and she was going to get them.
The second she had the epiphany though? It all fell apart and she had leftist backers abandoning her over it because she was simply being honest and understanding who these guys really were and that they were nothing like the misogynistic 'incel' stereotypes people had been lead to believe. Fun fact, many MRAs have been married before or are currently married and have had to go through the family court system, that's why they're MRAs.
Former college professor, so yes. Books by former cultists are becoming very trendy nowadays too.
