Shit like this is why I am glad franchises like Deus Ex or Thief are dead. I’d hate having modern “AAA” developers ruin them with DEI and sweet baby bullshit.

I read that Robert Zemeckis has some sort of lifetime rights to the IP, and has steadfastly refused any further sequels or remakes.

But you can bet your bottom dollar that as soon as he dies we’ll get to see Zendaya and Phoebe Waller-Bridge go back in time to fight colonialism 😒🤦🏼
