This is why I shit on these university students protesting, they are current thing NPCs and nothing more. Also, holy shit they'd be easy to doxx if somebody put their minds to it, those masks are barely covering their features. I never thought I'd write this, but Antifa are more competent at this than they are so these are some low IQ morons even amongst university students.
I watched some of this and it really didn't seem that bad at all.
Like one girl understands the guy just wants to use the material to make them look bad so she says to speak to the organizers. That's a great answer. The military is taught the exact same thing. It's what any competent organization does with regards to journalists. Then we've got a woman who wants the Israel-USA empire to fall? Hell yeah. This empire is trash. Good on her? Then we've got another woman who talks about how police are bad. Police is mostly trash. They're system worshippers that do as they're told. The police are ultimately not on your side. They're the goon squad of the government. You know, that same government that brings in immigrants to your country, locked you down in covid, tried to force the vaccine on you. Why would you look fondly on the police?
These protestors sound just fine to me.
The first thing I would do if I had to interact with journalists is I would have my own phone at the ready recording everything so they can't edit it out and if they do they look like fools. Also with regards to the empire she specifically cited capitalism which shows you how far her thought process extends. If they can't even articulate their talking points themselves? Why are they protesting?
So then you have a video of the encounter, but how do you plan on getting it covered? Unless you are lucky enough to have it retweeted by Elon or Tucker, nobody is going to see it. You are much better off telling them to go fuck themselves and not playing their game.
Yes there is that argument, but it's something I would simply link to if anyone ever tries to start shit with me over it. Otherwise I'm really not that interested in somebody who's dumb enough to uncritically listen to what a journalist has to say.
There is a trend I'm seeing on youtube which is something of a white pill for me but the click-bait tactics are getting pretty bad now that even the average commenter is starting to notice. You would have definitely had a awhile back because you can get defamed pretty badly in the press, but more and more people are calling out shit openly when they see it and chasing the fuckers off which is great. This is the case even when it comes to simple click-bait nonsense as well.
I would also simply keep things on file for legal reasons in case they start crossing some serious boundaries. If it's simply a case of "don't talk to journalists" then I do get it though.
