This is just one battle. The best outcome would be that Sony as a parent company realizes that its Playstation division is being mishandled and moves it out of the US or at least changes management.

This whole thing happened because their first party games have been lousy and now that one of them is bringing in player numbers like their games used to, they couldn't resist trying to capitalize on it to make up for the flops.
