The push for gay communism is just so antithetical to the setting and the lore. More than most properties, the ethos of 40k is extremely right wing. How do they insert the leftist agenda into this universe without drastically altering it?
I imagine the goal is to drastically alter it. I think that's the feature and not a bug. Destruction causes martyrs and hardline resistance, slowly infecting and changing the DNA of something is the goal.
I notice they are doing it to most major league sport leagues.
I think what makes 40k somewhat unique in this sort of context is just how far they will have to subvert it in order to make it serve the leftist agenda. Like you can subtly change a lot of properties to make them more leftist without breaking them entirely, but 40k will have to be bent so far that it will almost assuredly snap.
