Is the quote itself old? Or am I confusing it with Vampire: The Masquerade, which I think did a very similar thing?

Regardless, what I think is it's literally lame and gay.

Warhammer is for everyone...who likes and wants to play Warhammer. You're an outsider who wants to change things? Fuck off. You try to inject modern politics into it? Fuck off. You act like an entitled jerk? Fuck off. Want to play Warhammer? Do it.
