How would you feel if it was the government trampling on your rights yesterday, instead of the victims being people like me?
But nobody did nothin' to me yesterday.
Could the entire support base of the regime's bullshit really rest on retards with an IQ just too low to understand oppression as a conditional hypothetical? Since "nuthin' bad happened to me yesterday" is that why they excuse all this shit? Because they literally can't understand that it could happen to them later?
Yes it really is as bad as that which is why I'm in the process of writing off the entire european continent. Half of the population is so retarded they would not only attack you for suggesting any of the crap we talk about on a daily basis and think it's silly while simultaneously wanting you put in a crazy house. The other half knows it's true but they support the regime and will happily punish the other side as well as any true dissidents who might be a threat to them.
The issue of mass surveillance is a classic example of the attitude you're talking about. They don't see it as a problem for them until they get police knocking on their door over a tweet they posted and that's when they decide to care. Unfortunately a lot more people out there are Ana Kasparian levels of IQ and it's only until they're literally having a stranger attempting to hump them that they think "Oh shit, maybe these policies are a bad idea".
Not to mention there are people out there who get that knocking on their door and think they deserved it.
I won't forget the story of the entrepreneur who posted pro-BLM stuff on his store windows because he supported them. Then BLM burned it down during a riot. Then the owner reacted by claiming he just didn't support them hard enough and that he would do better.
