What an excellent example of a game done right. Even with a budget a fraction of something like Cyberpunk 2077, they did so much with Kingdom Come Deliverance and giving players what felt like meaningful choices, and a world that felt like it was reactive and alive.
Kingdom Come felt like the natural progression of where first-person RPGs should have gone following the creative boom throughout the 1990s. I suppose Morrowind also set a good foundation for what could have been, but Bethesda never evolved that formulae, and actually regressed after that.
