This isn't the most terrifying they can make, drone combat bulldozers, now THAT'S terrifying
Imagine 6 remotely controlled killdozers flattening your defenses, trenches, base then population centers as they are near impervious to most rocket attacks let alone mines.
It's easy to fantasize but people forget how many extremely fragile and exposed sensors these robots still rely on. When they fix that problem, then I'll start worrying, however most of these 'robots' and I use the term loosely rely a lot on these instruments and can be very easily fucked with which is why despite the hyping the military likes to do with them they never actually get used in any kind of real situation.
I'm very cynical about it all because again, being a programmer I know those sensors are going to be still exposed to the elements and sabotage attempts because they have to be. Plus there's the added issue of electronic warfare. Whatever you think of I'll come up with a counter for it, which is a classic example of why weaponised autism always wins.

You better PRAY to God Toyota or Nokia don't get involved in development. Imagine if they become as study as their pick-up trucks or phones...
