Its true. TikTok is a dangerous platform. There are 2 benefits that come from banning TikTok..

Stops groomers
Lays groundwork to ban other social networks from the chicoms or if the sbackbars ever make a competitor.

TikTok is "dangerous" because it's a platform that they don't control.

There's currently a media campaign against TikTok here in Germany because leftists found out a right-leaning party is more successful at reaching younger audiences than all of the left combined.
