"Women who code" announced it is shutting down its operations due to financial reasons.

Apparently, just the executive compensation of 5 individuals accounted for ~20% of their expenses.

This is a sad day for gender equity in tech.

The catastrophic consequences will surely ripple through the whole software industry.

Damn, and I've seen so many quality interview candidates that prominently featured "women who code" on their resumes.
