Fictional women are made for the male playerbase, but they do have some effect on women. For example, women occasionally dress up as these characters at cons. And men, in turn, love that, which creates followers for IG models, which enables IG and OF thottery. This is why Jessica Nigri has a career. So basically point A inevitably leads to point B because social media exists. Does anyone care about this?
Also, where exactly is the line between reality and fiction? Katy Perry is a real person, but she's also a pop star. Her image isn't exactly real. So is it OK for her to do thirst trap music videos?
